Fly into Denpasar (DPS), head 40 min north to Canggu. Grab a dorm (₹500–800/night), rent a scooter for the trip (~₹250/day, cheaper by the week), and find your feet — beginner surf at Batu Bolong, warungs, and a free sunset on the sand.

Days 3–5: Ubud — culture, rice terraces, waterfalls

Ride inland to Ubud (~1.5 hrs). Three nights here: Tegallalang rice terraces at dawn before the buses, the Sacred Monkey Forest, and a day looping Tegenungan and Tibumana waterfalls. Eat off the main strip to keep food under ₹400/day.

Fast boat from Sanur (~45 min). Stay one night to beat the day-trippers to the Kelingking 'T-Rex' cliff and Broken Beach. Share a snorkel boat to Manta Point to split the cost. Roads are rough — hire a driver rather than risk a scooter.

Days 8–9: Amed — quiet east coast & budget diving

Cross to the far east (~2.5 hrs from Sanur). Amed is black-sand, calm, and a fraction of the south's prices. Snorkel straight off the beach, or do a cheap fun-dive on the Tulamben wreck nearby. Guesthouses here are some of the cheapest on Bali.

Day 10: Uluwatu — clifftop temple finish

Loop back south to the Bukit peninsula for the last night. Catch Uluwatu's clifftop temple at sunset with the Kecak fire dance (~₹600 incl. show), then a final morning surf at Padang Padang or Bingin before the airport, 40 min away.
